The NYSCF Conference

The NYSCF Conference is the leading scientific meeting on translational stem cell research. It annually convenes over 500 participants from academia, industry, government, non-profits, and patient groups. This year’s keynotes will be given by Amander Clark, PhD, of the University of California, Los Angeles, and Ravi Majeti, MD, PhD, of Stanford University. Additional speakers will include world-renowned, multi-disciplinary scientists, who will present their latest findings about the transformative impact of stem cell research on numerous diseases with a high unmet need.

The NYSCF Gala & Science Fair – Show Up for Science

The NYSCF Gala & Science Fair recognizes those who are making an impact in the field through their research, support, and advocacy of stem cell research. This year we are pleased to honor four exceptional “Stem Cell Heroes” for their longstanding support of NYSCF and engagement with the patient community: Kay Unger, Feng Zhang, and Jerry and Janet Zucker.

Junior Leadership Council

The NYSCF Junior Leadership Council (JLC) is a dynamic group of dedicated young professionals who are committed to helping NYSCF fulfill its mission. NYSCF JLC members represent the next generation of leaders and philanthropists in the New York City area, from industries including finance, law, business, media, pharma/biotech, and fashion, among others. The NYSCF Science and Technology Education Program (STEP)

The NYSCF Science and Technology Education Program is a program that seeks to provide educational opportunities for young people and introduce them to the exciting world of science and stem cell research through various outlets including conducting seminars at local schools, providing internship opportunities, raising awareness for stem cell science, and hosting special tours for students at the NYSCF laboratory, among others.
