NYSCF's Fourth Annual Dinner Celebration took place Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at The Rockefeller University.   NYSCF was pleased to honor Frank Gehry, architect, and Joel S. Marcus, CEO of Alexandria Real Estate Equities.

Did you ever wonder what treasures lie in the basements or attics of celebrated architects and designers like Richard Meier, Charlotte Moss, and Jaquelin Taylor Robertson? And, what would happen if all of those things were put together into a single tag sale - a sale in which every item came from the stock of a well-known architect or designer?

The Eastman family hosted an outreach cocktail reception for NYSCF in East Hampton, NY.  

Susan Solomon, JD, NYSCF's Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Eggan, PhD, NYSCF's Chief Scientific Officer and Dieter Egli, PhD, a NYSCF Postdoctoral Fellow, gave an update on the latest developments in stem cell research.

Chuck Close, NYSCF Board Member and Leadership Council Member, and Dorothy Lichtenstein, NYSCF Leadership Council Member, hosted NYSCF's spring evening of art and science. Dr. Kevin Eggan, PhD, NYSCF's Chief Scientific Officer, provided an update on the latest developments in stem cell research. Close led a special preview tour of his exhibition at the PaceWildenstein Gallery.

The panelists discussed the latest developments in diabetes research. 

On Tuesday, January 27th, Dr. Harold Varmus hosted a panel discussion on the future of stem cell research under the new Obama administration.


NYSCF's Third Annual Gala Dinner took place Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at The Rockefeller University. We were pleased to have Mayor Michael Bloomberg be our special guest and speaker.


NYSCF was thrilled to have both the mayor and the governor at the third annual gala.
