Dr. Rompolas received his PhD from the University of Connecticut Health Center. He received the James Hudson Brown - Alexander Brown Coxe Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Keystone Symposia Fellowship. He and his lab currently aim to use novel imaging technologies to uncover the genes that control stem cell identity and fate and investigate how stem cells interact with elements of the skin microenvironment. He has published in Nature, Science, and Molecular Biology of the Cell.
