At The 2015 NYSCF Conference: Tenth Annual Translational Stem Cell Research Conference, NYSCF announced Franziska Michor. PhD, as the 2015 recipient of the Robertson Stem Cell Prize. Dr. Michor fuses her passions in mathematics, molecular biology and patient care to investigate how cancers form and progress. As a Professor of Computational Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and in the Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Dr. Michor uses mathematical models developed for understanding evolution to examine tumors and develop treatment regiments to improve patient outcomes.
