Bio
Dr. Kim is working on a cell replacement therapy as a treatment for Parkinson’s disease by utilizing stem cells to permanently repair and replace damaged cells in the brain. This treatment would effectively provide an unlimited source of healthy brain cells and stand as an alternative to current pharmacological methods. He is currently pursuing his postdoctoral studies at MSKCC in Dr. Lorenz Studer’s lab.
