NYSCF Research Institute and Yumanity Therapeutics Announce Discovery Collaboration

The NYSCF Research Institute announced a new collaboration with Yumanity Therapeutics, a company focused on transforming drug discovery for diseases caused by protein misfiling, to generate induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines for use in discovery efforts focused on new medicines for neurodegenerative diseases like ALS, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and others.

This partnership accelerates the discovery of new medicines for neurodegenerative diseases by generating stem cell lines from patients’ skin samples for use in exploring new drug options.
