Up at Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New York Stem Cell Foundation honored the artist Christo and the former hedge fund manager Julian H. Robertson Jr. Said Mayor Bloomberg: “One has always needed a haircut”—Christo—”and the other has always wished he’d need a haircut.”
Mr. Robertson asked the scientists present “not to cringe at the thought of Wall Street support, but do your job and with those crazy little cells you make, change the world.”
