Second Annual Architect and Designer Tag Sale
Did you ever wonder what treasures lie in the basements or attics of celebrated architects and designers like Richard Meier, Charlotte Moss, and Jaquelin Taylor Robertson? And, what would happen if all of those things were put together into a single tag sale – a sale in which every item came from the stock of a well-known architect or designer?
Did you ever wonder what treasures lie in the basements or attics of celebrated architects and designers like Richard Meier, Charlotte Moss, and Jaquelin Taylor Robertson? And what would happen if all of those things were put together into a single tag sale — a sale in which every item came from the stock of a well-known architect or designer?
That’s what happens at The New York Stem Cell Foundation’s annual Architects and Designers Tag Sale. Every item has been generously donated by a well-known architect, designer, or prominent figure in the design world, and will be tagged with his or her name. This year we will also include items donated from stores that carry home dÌ©cor products, as well as merchandise from manufacturers. The event was held at the Silas Marder Gallery in conjunction with Marders, and all proceeds went to benefit NYSCF’s program of helping to accelerate the most advanced stem cell research.
Richard Meier and Paul Goldberger, who originated the idea and launched the sale last year, again served as co-chairmen of the event. Nick and Toni’s Restaurant, which hosted last year’s event, served as honorary sponsor.
The New York Stem Cell Foundation would like to thank the Silas Marder Gallery for hosting this event.
