Bio

Dr. Hudis is an award-winning oncologist specializing in breast cancer and a visionary cancer researcher. As its CEO, he leads the American Society of Clinical Oncology and its 50,000 members as they pursue their mission of conquering cancer through research, education, and promotion of the highest quality, equitable patient care. Dr. Hudis previously served in a variety of volunteer and leadership roles at ASCO, including as its President during the Society’s 50th anniversary year (2013-14). Before coming to ASCO full-time, he was the Chief of the Breast Medicine Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York City and Professor of Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Dr. Hudis received his Doctorate of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine. He stayed at Drexel to complete the Internal Medicine Residency program, ultimately becoming the chief medical resident.
