Bio
Dr. Khobrekar is unraveling the complex genetic drivers of autism using patient stem cells. Autism is a neurological disorder that affects how the brain develops, and is triggered by a poorly understood combination of genetics and environment in different brain cell types. Dr. Khobrekar is studying how numerous genetic risk factors affect the functions of these brain cells, to help establish a causal link between genetics and patient outcomes.
