Kay Tye Delivers TED Talk on the Underpinnings of Mental Illness

News Video

NYSCF – Robertson Neuroscience Investigator Alumna and Salk Institute Professor Kay Tye, PhD, recently delivered a TED Talk on her pioneering work to illuminate how circuits in the brain underlie neuropsychiatric disease. Understanding how these diseases start will allow scientists to develop treatments that target them at their sources.

“When we truly understand exactly how the mind comes from the brain, we will improve the lives of everyone who will have a mental illness in their lifetime … as well as everyone else with whom they share the world.”
