Bio
Dr. Knight is a Professor in the Department of Physiology at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and an investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. His lab studies the neural mechanisms that control homeostasis, including the regulation of hunger and thirst. He received his PhD in Chemistry from UCSF and performed doctoral research at The Rockefeller University.
